A power flush is simply a process that gives your central heating system a thorough internal clean and usually improves the central heating system's performance, which can lead to lower gas bills.

Over time some heating systems may experience poor circulation resulting in lukewarm radiators, poor hot water, increased noise and sludge build up. You might notice cold spots on radiators or find that your boiler makes much more noise than it used to — and even worse, you’re paying more money but getting less heat. It’s simply due to a build-up of corrosion and rust in the system and your pipes.

By power flushing your entire heating system, all that sludge and built up residue can be easily removed, making your system work more efficiently. Power flushing your central heating system can also extend the lifespan of your boiler, and make it quieter.

It’s a high tech service, using extremely powerful pressure pumped water plus the latest chemicals both during and after the treatment. First, a powerful sludge-removing chemical is added to the system to loosen things up. Each radiator gets flushed in turn with the other radiators turned off. There is no need for physical removal of the radiators. The flow is reversed repeatedly, and a magnetic filter is used to maximise the sludge removal: in fact your boiler, radiators and all pipe work is all flushed until water runs absolutely clear.

Finally, another chemical is added to prevent future build-up, and the system is fully checked and reset for you by our qualified engineer.

(Please note, our expected price is based on an average property, is given in its after discount state and includes the product and installation).

  • Chemical, magnetic process to remove existing sludge
  • Finishing chemical to prevent future sludge build up

Power Flushing is a relatively simple process to carry out and it takes less than one day to do it. Check out the detailed description of how it will work below!
